Great stuff!

What stands to me is that the snare is a bit too much on the dry (and forward) side, and the kick lacks the presence it should have in a metal track.

Other than that, great tone and balance. Maybe the voice is forward at the expense of masking other stuff, but that's a personal thing.

Hey Yoshi!

Nice rework of the vocals and snare (I sometimes use distortion carefully on the snare to add something to it without adding volume, so it can "come forward without really coming forward").
I don't actually know if you did something to the vocals or it is the product of bringing the kick forward that there's not that much masking. Still I think it needs a bit more cleaning at some points around.... maybe 1k? Female voices always confuse me. Try TDR Nova, it's a free dynamic eq if you don't already own one.
The kick is now a liiiiitle bit too forward for my taste, although I like the sound of it now, more clicky. It is hard to get it to pop out without bringing it too much to the front.

I hadn't noticed before how clean and nice the bass sounds in your mix. Good stuff and sorry if I come off as picky. This song has great raw tracks but it is challenging as well Big Grin
Hi OctopusOnFire

Thanks for sharing your Progressive Metal method with me.
It helps a lot.
My weakness is Metal.
I've managed to overcome it a little, but it still takes time!
Please keep up the good work!
