Hey guys, here is my try on this song!
I had troubles to fit the vocals in the mix, im not shure if its good now, what do you think?
Im happy about every comment about it! Smile

Ps: I dont have Monitors, so i´m mixing with my old HifiSpeakers, if you hear things i dont, tell me! Big Grin
The vocals sound pretty good to me. One thing that's jumping out is the kick "click." To me it's too prominent. Also, I think a little more compression on the kick would help, too.
The guitars are very hf hurt the ears a bit.The kick don't too bad to me and the kick is the problem for everyone no matter what you do sample or not its strange
it just wont sit in the mix.For me I hate that boxy reverb on the vox it just clashes with all the hf in the mix.
The hats are very loud as well so take the overheads down and also have a look at eq some of that nasty top out and the guitars.
I think that slap on the vox is all wrong also and just making everything so messy.
Thank you for your replies, i will defenetly check my mix again now!
Reverb is always the hardest thing for me, hope it gets better with the time Wink
Perhaps try a short room reverb with a short track timed pre-delay for starters. If you have a stereo delay, you could add just a small amount of that along with it.
You will get better ,this is what this forum is here for it just don't happen over night, far from
hundreds of nights and ive done them.
Yes. I,ve mixed over 100 songs and know I have tons more to learn ... maybe another 900 will do it Smile
Yeah learning never ends, and im just starting with mixing ( second mix on a professional recorded track ever Big Grin ), but this Forum is great for learning! Also the book from Mike was really helpful, i think it will have huge impact on the next mixes i will do!
