This is V2 trying to get to know my new monitors
Much better! If I was a client and we were doing this to release, my preference would be to back the guitars down just a db or 2, but you've done a nice job on this!

Well, the artist himself likes it; hard to argue with that. Big Grin That being said, I like it, too, except for one major problem: compression is causing a lot of unnatural "pumping" in the cymbals. Personally, I don't think compression should be used in the master buss at all; compression should be used only on individual tracks, and only when it's absolutely needed for the effect one is going for. If you're willing, you might try mastering it without the master compression. However, I realize my opinion on master compression is in the minority so if you do want to use it OK but you've GOT to back it down a bit to let those cymbals breathe.

Otherwise, very pleasing mix. Smile
