Here is my mix of Action's Devil's Words. Very straightforward song.
-Used samples for kick and snare. Might have to re-sample the snare.
-Cleaned up the bass signal and doubled it to have a DI and a reamped signal.
-Guitars were a bit muddy, but nothing a good EQ and compress won't do.
-Vocals were cleaned up using EQ, autotune and a bit of post processing.
-Kept the overall mix simple and clear.
Matering:
-Added saturation and automation to give the overall song some pop.
-Used a limiter and some light compression to bring the song together.
