My mix, tryed to make it as beefy as possible, might have overcooked it though haha went kinda full blast on it.
It's KINDA overcooked, and the guitars are a little too floofy. But I really like the snare sound!
I agree there is some nasty woof there somewhere that honestly makes me not like the mix.
Yeah, overall it feels obscured. You're trying a lot which I'm not trying to dismiss but the 'anchor' of the mix isn't there. If you want to take me some where alien and blow my mind I need some solid point to look to for reference and safety. I feel freaked out but I think some element of this mix needs to be grounded. Make me look up to the stars. Don't put me out there...
