Hello everyone! My goal on this one was to make it sound sort of "80's" but without too much reverb and such like on those 80's songs. I went for a cohesive glued mix with a polish to it. I like it - hope you do too. Comments are always welcomed.

No there is no gate on acoustic.....you are probably just hearing masking from the other instruments. This is a rather busy mix/tracks that the artist provided don't you agree? I did not want to "cut" anything out of the mix but others may have taken that approach. I kind of like the way the acoustic naturally rings out at times and blends at others. Sorry you don't like it.
