Hi everyone! I really liked the song, thank you for letting us mix it!. Hope you like the mix. any comment will help!
Hey Brian - Really digging the snare sound you got on this - it has a really woody sounding "knock" to it that I like. In fact the drums overall sound very cool.

The vocals sound excellent too. You have eq'd them in a very flattering way, and they sit very nicely in the mix, with a nice sense of space around them.

The only mis-step I hear is the bass. It has a very lo-mid-heavy tone that doesn't seem to gel well with the drums and provide that nice connection between the kick drum and the other elements in the mix. The bass almost sounds a bit like a "stuck-wah" guitar tone, albeit much lower in the tonal spectrum. I suspect there might be some phase/polarity issue at work here, so if you are using multiple versions of the bass tone, you might want to experiment with switching the polarity to see if you can get a fuller, more "connective" bass tone.
Thank you so much for listening to my mix. I feel the same as you, I didn't feel comfortable with the bass sound but couldn't find how to make it. Could be some of the 300hz too loud. Hope you liked the rest of the mix!

Yes, I thought the mix was very good apart from the bass
