Hi Guys. I heard this song and wanted to give it a quick mix. I mixed in in just over an hour so its not perfected but good enough to post it and move on, hopefully. I really appreciate the band letting us mix it. They rock! I hope someone likes what I did here.
Those drums are awesome. Good job. The toms really boom (which I like). A mastering engineer might not, heh.
I would like to have a bit more punch or impact for the chorus. Some energy would really add to it. With drums that huge, its easy to miss the chorus.
I like the vocal work in the second verse (the delay/ambience).
Overall, nice, clean and vibrant mix. I think it'd make a client happy for sure. Good job!
