I found this song yesterday and gave it a mix today. I've never been too big fan of black metal (except for the newer Satyricon), so this is my first time mixing some.
Used all six guitar tracks; 3 right, 3 left each with their own individual sound. Gave the bass some distortion too (first time doing that in a mix).
EQ and compression on the drums.
Synths got some tube warmth added to them.
Some panning on the lead vocals with added tube warmth and reverb.
Backing vocals got some tube warmth as well as getting tuned down an octave.
So there it is; my mix of this song broken down for you.
