Cool Version Robert ,I like it ,Maybe the electric guitar could be a touch upfront and hitting the master limiter a touch too much especially in the low frequencies below 400 as in the verse after it play's can hear mix especially the drums breath more.

Exactly right on all points, Don. Thanks for being a trusted pair of ears once again. After being detatched from the mix for a day and coming back again, it's so obvious now. The mix is a tad 'over-cooked' at the back-end (which doesn't help anything) and on reflection, the guitars DO really need to come down. In the next mix, I'll address those things + getting the 'air' into the drums top end. Thanks again, Don.

But it sounds good. Just uploaded mine today after mixing and editing for about 6 months!!
Not because of any"struggle" but having a 2 year old kid makes mixing such a looong
process ;-)
Sorry about the long absence. I was refurbishing a couple of mixing consoles and fixing other 'stuff'. It took longer than anticipated.
Here's an updated mix for Jet B's 'Suit You'. The monitor mix will follow.
This one was mixed entirely using AKG K712 Pro (open back) headphones as an experiment for setting up mixes later at night when I can't turn up the monitors.
How 'accurate' are these headphones ? All comments welcome.
