Messed up the tempo going into my DAW. Kinda like it better

Hi there, I know there is a million and 1 ways to mix a song and every engineer has there own interpretations,but! I don't think it was a good idea to slow the track down, it almost sounds as if the guy and his band are tired and drunk ,almost dragging there feet.
