It was quite difficult to get this to the point that I might send it here. I took some inspiration from 60's, and some guidance from a bit more modern Daniel Lanois.

I like your version ,can hear the 60's inspiration ,the vocal effects has that Johnny Cash Vibe.

The 60's focus works here.. I like the handling of the rhodes and more intimate feel of the mix. Does sound like a Johnny Cash record.

the song groove you achieved is really inspiring! I love the vocal fx. I agree with Konek. I think the snare should be more centered. but other than that, I think it's pretty good
