Discussion Zone

This is my first mix on Camgridge Music Technology. I'm super excited to get feedback, and eventually give feedback too.

GOAL: I tried to keep vocals clear and distraction free at all times. And also authentic as possible to the source material.

I intentionally didn't listen to any mixes prior, not even the 'real' officially released version. What a great and short little song!

Not bad. Good crisp, clear and full. There is a lot going on in this song between the guitar parts both electric and acoustic and the percussion and the vocals. I think your mix does the vocals very well, but the instrumentation gets lost to a degree, and that is the real challenge of this short and sweet song. It takes plenty of automation to get it right and I haven't gotten there in my mix either.

Good vibe. Good mix. Try deesser on vocals. And master the thing! But really good mix!
