I am completely new to mixing/mastering audio. This is my very first mix. Any help to make this mix better is greatly appreciated!
Remixed it.

Hey, the guitars definitely sound improved and smoother in your second mix (sounds like better EQ decisions to me). The kick drum sounds good, but it's a little overpowering and too loud. You've got the right idea of it with the aggressive tone though. If I were you, I would turn the cymbals up a decent amount, and the snare a little. Perhaps, adding a sample or two to the snare to help it thicken up and have the same impact of the kick. Also I thought the delay on the spoken word parts was a bit loud and distracting, but it could add a cool vibe at a lower volume for sure.

Keep at it! You're doing good for starting out (way better than I was). If you're not already doing this, try and reference pro mixes of the same genre as you mix. It really helps to get the levels right (guitars, vocals, bass, drums, etc.)

Good luck mate!

Thank you so much for your reply! And yes, you are right on about the drums and vocals. And for the snare, I think I pushed the clipper too hard and the transient detail got lost. I'll definitely try fixing them!
