Hi music loving friends,

Here's my mix, couldn't resist to give it my own twist Smile

Hope you like it.

Cheers,
Luc

Update 03/08/2016
Replaced the mix with the final final mix Big Grin
As discussed with Draper (Loweche6) ducked the delay as a function of lead vox, and I couldn't withstand the urge to add a unison harmony as well as a harmony in D major to Justin's lead vox.

Update 03/09/2016
Replaced the mix: Agreeing with Mick2015, the lead vox mixed a fair bit less honky (tempered 2k5 and 4k5 peak) and next to that gave it more low.

Update 04/09/2016
Complete new mix, wasn't satisfied about the former versions, Justin however was enthusiastic. Talking with Justin I promised him a new mix Cool
In this version I payed a lot of special attention to the lead, edited it with Melodyne, and added harmony (Nectar 2) backvox (at the right places Justin, I hope Big Grin )

So this is my final final final version (I think) hahaha

However my aim is to add a fully produced version within 1 month from now (04/10/2016)

Hope you like it.

Cheers,
Luc
Hi Luc '
I like your mix, sounds nice and warm ,nice use of effects.
probably a personal preference thing a touch more reverb on the snare tail would sound cool.

Cheers Big Grin
Don
sound like you put reverb on the bass

Hi Rambo,

Nope, no reverb on the bass...
Cheers,
Luc
Hi Don,

Thanks Big Grin

uploaded final mix and took your advice and added a itsy tiny extra snare tail reverb

Cheers,
Luc

Personal preference, but I think the delay might be utilized a little better if you automated some muting so that it's not constant on the main vox. It gets a little distracting, imo. The snare could maybe be eq'd around 300, to get a little box out of it, maybe? I really dig the feel that you've gotten with the effects, and it's a nice version of the song. Just some nit-picky details.

Nice work!
Draper
Woohahaha Draper, coincidence doesn't exist, would you believe?

At this very same moment I think EXACTlY the same about the lead vox delay hahaha Big Grin have to duck it out in the singing parts.

Work on the V final final mix (hahaha) soon, keep you posted

Thanks and cheers dude Big Grin
Bit wet for my taste, but I do like the vocal harmony, very cool indeed, Luc! The vocal is a bit honky to my ears and could be a little thicker. I like the punch of the drums and bass. Nice work.
Hi Mick, thanks for your comments.

How wet can a love song be... wink wink Wink Wink
I agree the lead is a bit honky / high pitched and needs more low.

remixed and voila

Cheers dude,

Luc
Latest version works much better, good one Luc. Definitely feeling the dry love now LOL.
