I had to do a lot of automation to get the vox to sit where I wanted them to sit.
ParaCOMP on the DRMs
I keyed the the bass and overheads with the solo GTR so it had the sonic room to punch through without crushing the dynamics.
I have no idea why they choose an eighth beat rhythm for the double KD, it doesn't really make sense from a musical POV, considering what the GTRs and bass are doing. The KD could have done so much more to add to the song.
I used Megadeth Skin of my teeth for a ref.
Im happy with the outcome of this mix.
