I think you're focusing too much on the vocals in this song. Whilst they still have to be clear and be able to poke through the mix (focus on the 1KHz-5KHz region, maybe add a 10KHz+ shelf to give it some 'gloss'), I feel that the groove between the bass and drums (and to a lesser extent, the palm muted guitar) is a much more important factor in this song that will push it and drive it. Overall though, it's a good stab at the song. I would like to see more attack in the snare (perhaps increase the atk on your compressor and then shorten the release time?) but that's a personal think.
There are still some finer points you need to work on, but as I said; it's a solid start.
