Hey guys, I figured I might as well join this site since everyone else is already here.

So, I ended up having a blast doing my own version of Burning Bridges, and I managed to nail it in aproximately 6 hours (two three hour sessions). Vocals still sound pretty rough to me, but at this point I'm just doing it for fun, so I'll let it be.

I just noticed
there's a lot of low end flying in the mix
try to push down the low freq a bit and it will sounds pretty sweet

what dxmg92 said It's the bass that's too boomy. Rest sounds good.

If you really want to bring this song to life and make a great mix you probably need a lot of volume automation too. Ride the faders and see if you can get more emotion into everything. there is no wrong or right here.
