Hey
I hope this sounds ok and I didn't kill the song.
I like the song very much so it was fun to work with.

One of the challenges of this song is balancing the gtr freq and the KD, IMO

I see that you posted this some time ago also, so I won't nit pick everything.

What were you thinking when you panned the ambient tremolo gtrs hard right and loud? What was your vision?

Also, why did you choose to have such a contrast with the snare drum vs the KD? Its bright and I mostly hear the strainer.

Im glad you didn't kill the vocals with too much reverb/delay...

The overall sound of the chorus is warm and squishy, but not badly.

Do you play any instrument, If so, what? That's all. Cheers.

Wow, did I mix this really :-)
I must make a remix, learnt a lot since this.
Can't really remember why I did this and that, probably I thought it sounded good at that time :-) Wait for my remix, hopefully in a week.

And yes I play guitar and some drums, and try to sing from time to time :-)

Terrible compressing btw.

I asked because its easier to envision how instruments relate to each other in the context of a song when you are familiar with their timbre.

Here's a link to all the music I've made in the last 3 years, with the exception of a few songs but the people who performed them are given credit.

The rest are all written performed, produced and recorded/mixed by me.

Mixing is journey not a destination and improvement is continual.
