Hi guys!
So yeah, I got the first test master back today and I'm proud to say that this is by far the best sounding production I've ever made.
With over 150 tracks and six songs this is also the first whole EP I've been mixing.
The Forkupines are going to release the Disc called "Yet the Same" on October 15th in mp3 and wav (via Bandcamp), on CD and (limited!) on tape!
As far as I can tell there will be one track for you guys to mix. It's called "Sleep by the Fire, bloom in Water" and it's awesome!
You'll get the updates as soon as possible. The stems will be provided by October 15th (disc release).
I'll provide more detailed information on how to handle the tracks, which gear was used, which plugins and treatments I recommend. Just ask me then.
Let me promise that this time you won't have phase issues. I'm sorry for the mess I did in Semantics.
Some information on the next song:
-It's going to have 44 tracks in total
-of which one is a synth looped through a crappy amp (sounds nasty but awesome!)
-It's catchy a.f. (excuse my language)
-good mood pop punk
-high quality drum stems*
-lovely vocals (shure sm7b, yeah!)
-dual recorded guitars (sm57 and e906), two rhythm guitars, a lead guitar and some small extras
-DI Bass and reamped through sansamp
and for you guys the finished song as I will get it after it's being mastered.

They were recorded in a small but professional studio in Hannover, Germany.
