Not a big fan of the sound and volume of the kick drum. You have a 'splatty' sort of sound with not a lot of body.
Actually the drums sound a little too mid rangy. Hats seem to be missing in the verses.
Like the volume of the vocals, but would like a little less upper mids. Nice subtle reverb.
Not a fan of the way the lead comes in at 1:53. There's some weird guitar thing at that point. Like to guitar tone though in the main lead break.

I agree with all of your comments and having another listen ,hopefully Version 2 will sound a little Better with your observations in mind !
