Agree with Don, vox could be a little fuller. And maybe also slightly softer. You have a lot of room for the vox in your mix, so it maybe it doesn't have to be so edgy to cut through. I remember that her voice has some raw qualities, which were very problematic to me while I was mixing my version.
Hi Olli - thx for listening and your comments.....apologies for not replying sooner...
Have been racking my brain as to the source of the vox harshness/brightness....and then i found it......the EQ on the FX return has a very high LP filter and was letting to much high end through....will update if i get a round to it.......but take away the lesson anyway onto future mixes....thanks
