Been sitting on this mix for a bit. Decided to just finalise it and be done as I feel that I've just been overthinking things. Feedback appreciated.

That was one choked snare, huh? "spunk, spunk". I ended up using a blend of the original and a snare sample.

Yeah, it wasn't a great recording but I don't think it was too difficult to deal with as far as snares go (though I think snares are almost always a pain in the ass to mix anyway).

I remember this was one of the first few songs I mixed.. wow back in 2016.. time goes by so fast!.. It's a good song. I see you took the bass to be a driver on the song.
Sounds good. Its a very warm mix and I love the work on the voice.
