Milk Cow Blues
#1
FYI, I'm a newbie to "serious" mixing. My goal is to work with the samples here so that I learn my tools better so that I can get some ideas out of my head that have been in there for years. I don't want to have to struggle with mixing and want to apply what I'm learning working with these to my own stuff, and I've been putting it off for too long. Careers sometimes get in the way. Wink

I've been working through the "Good for Newbies" list and this one I've given the most attention. I hope to participate a bit more here on the more recent uploads.

Sounds good! Wink I would put a bit more mids to the voice just to make it warm.

Cool Mix I like it ,
Listening on headphones at the moment, the snare brushes sound a touch bright around 10k area, a touch more de essing on the vocals to tame the siblence as clashing with the brushes in the same area.maybe a touch more compression to soften the attack of some hits on the piano keys jumping out more than others ?
Just some Thoughts while having a listen.
Good job Big Grin
