Listening to mix 2. I like the vocals and the guitars. The sax, not so much. It feels a bit naked and stark at times. The issue I think everyone will find with sax is how his sound changes when he goes to the upper register. I do like the added effects during his solo. That is cool and helps place it better. In the versus and choruses though those effects get lost leaving it a bit naked. The snare also feels a bit naked and stark as well but comes into its own as the song progresses. You've established good energy through the song. I like that a lot. Your bass is much more utilitarian than mine. I played around a lot more with his figures and tones and effects. However, it blends well with the kick. The two get a bit heavy at times and some definition is lost. Still it has a great holistic feel and holds great energy. Well done.
