For the snare I choose to use samples of itself to fix the bad places. It turned out ok I think
Your mix is very obviously different from the original, and Im sorry to say not for the better.
Had this been a rap or pop song the edits maybe would fit the genre
Listnin somewhere 2.40ish edit is very off timewise.
Also the eq to my taste and for the genre is very smileycurve, too much top and bottom.
On the positive side it is not squashed, thats good in my book.
