Well you know how to pick em as this a hard track to mix for a noob.
Now your mix is very bottom heavy with a lot of reverb on the mix.
Maybe have another go and go very easy on reverb so you can hear more
clear as to what is going on in the mix.
If you listen to your mix you will notice that the snare drum as an example
is lost all together.I think you should maybe have a listen to some of the other mixes of this
and compare with your mix and you should see where i am coming from.
Also i would recomend Mike Seniors book as it is very good and you can have a good read up.
I also think it would be a good idea for you to visit youtube and watch some vids that cover eq
and study that a bit beacause its so important to understand eq to get the sound of your mixes
on track.I think you should also pick a more simple track for starters to be honest.
If you search impossible colours you will find songs as small as 3 or 4 tracks that would be good for you
to practice your eq and balance on etc.
Please dont be dis heartend by what i have said because in 3 months you will be mixing like a pro.
