Trick Bird : 'window'thedon - thedon - 01-08-2015 Here is Version 1 needs More work ! RE: Trick Bird : 'window'thedon - juanjose1967 - 04-08-2015 you got some good ideas here I like! Especially the changes between verses and choruses so obviously in the lead vox. I would lower the bass a little bit because even though it plays an important role in the song, I think it could go a little bit less loud. Also try to add some definition to it. Thanks Juan RE: Trick Bird : 'window'thedon - loweche6 - 10-08-2015 I think your overheads are a touch too hot as well, with the backbeat guitar during the verse a little low for my tastes. It does give it a different feel, so I wouldn't immediately call it a mistake by any means. I like the strength of the claps (I know that seems so trivial, but they are real thick). Good mix overall, just do what you were already going to do to improve the mix! :-P Draper RE: Trick Bird : 'window'thedon - thedon - 10-08-2015 (10-08-2015, 04:43 AM)loweche6 Wrote: I think your overheads are a touch too hot as well, with the backbeat guitar during the verse a little low for my tastes. Thanks for the feedback RE: Trick Bird : 'window'thedon - Cudjoe - 13-09-2015 Hi thedon nice vibe the only thing I would say is that I agree about the low end, apart from that it's cool, well done. Look out for my mix in the next week. RE: Trick Bird : 'window'thedon - Nos - 13-09-2015 Nice work. As with some other mixes of this song I think this is lacking some presence in the mids RE: Trick Bird : 'window'thedon - thedon - 14-09-2015 (13-09-2015, 03:11 PM)Nos Wrote: Nice work. RE: Trick Bird : 'window'thedon - raghav330 - 27-01-2016 Damn that kick is big ... But it starts to sound nice if you keep listening to it... I think you did some creative automation work.. Thats nice .. Good mix RE: Trick Bird : 'window'thedon - Robert - 27-01-2016 Very nice easy listening mix with lots of clarity. If I was to be really fussy, I'd also say the cymbals were a bit hot, but not in a distracting way. The overall balance is really good, Don. |
