you got some good ideas here I like! Especially the changes between verses and choruses so obviously in the lead vox.

I would lower the bass a little bit because even though it plays an important role in the song, I think it could go a little bit less loud. Also try to add some definition to it.

I think your overheads are a touch too hot as well, with the backbeat guitar during the verse a little low for my tastes. It does give it a different feel, so I wouldn't immediately call it a mistake by any means. I like the strength of the claps (I know that seems so trivial, but they are real thick). Good mix overall, just do what you were already going to do to improve the mix! :-P

I agree ,with the hot overheads ,I think it is the level of the fake drum room track i tried to create, which needs more work maybe without adding the hand claps to it !
will have another play around !
Thanks for the feedbackBig Grin

Nice work. As with some other mixes of this song I think this is lacking some presence in the midsSmile

Very nice easy listening mix with lots of clarity. If I was to be really fussy, I'd also say the cymbals were a bit hot, but not in a distracting way.
The overall balance is really good, Don.
