Just returning the favor. Looking forward to your next mix of this track. RE: Blood To The Bone - pauli - 23-03-2014 I think the reason the bass sounds so overprominent is because there's a disonant resonance in the low mid/upper bass region that pokes out occasionally, probably because all the crazy phasing going on in the recordings. Thanks for having a listen Pauli Having another play around with this mix will look into phasing and hopefully have the bass sorted out ! I always make it a point to check out your mixes, I learn by example I've been working on this one for weeks and the phase stuff is causing what remains of my hair to shrivel up and fall out >_< RE: Blood To The Bone - thedon - 24-03-2014 (24-03-2014, 06:54 AM)pauli Wrote:LOL(24-03-2014, 06:46 AM)thedon Wrote:(23-03-2014, 08:03 PM)pauli Wrote: I think the reason the bass sounds so overprominent is because there's a disonant resonance in the low mid/upper bass region that pokes out occasionally, probably because all the crazy phasing going on in the recordings. Thanks ! This mix is a great challenge ! RE: Blood To The Bone - joseph piccione - 26-05-2014 Hi thedon, Nice job on the mix! (I listened to mix 2). The biggest thing for me would be to balance the OH mics, they are a bit hyped and make listening a bit tough. Curious, did you use samples on the Drum Kit? I didn't use any drum samples only the original drum tracks supplied . I will try to fix the drum balance when I do another remix ! |
