Did you use a spatial spreader to get the stereo field that wide?

I thought so. It just felt way to wide for regular panning. Were you just having trouble placing things so they weren't muddy in the stereo field or was there another reason you decided to use a spreader?

That's awesome! Often times as music engineers we can forget to look at a session from the view of music as a visual representation. Specifically to ask ourselves some questions that don't really have a right answer but help us feel out the mood of a piece. Like if this song were a movie what would it be? Or if it had a visual style what would it look like? That's cool that you arrived there naturally.
