Hi stereo sonic that's where you are going wrong,I would not recommend mixing a track from start to finish using headset because of different sound stage,try with any speakers you can find,preferably nearfields, you will get a better result and listen to the original and do a a/b test while you are mixing,I know my mixes ain't the best in the world but I like to think iam progressing since I started on this site 2014,I hope this helps you. ps. keep effects very low.
