Hoping the bottom end is fitting
#1
Hi,
I did this in Logic, that is so much a hell to me to work with automation that I eventually threw in very little automation.
Very economical mix with three global reverbs (short plate, a shortened hall and another longer ambience) and one delay.

Biggest question is with the upright bass bottom end that is uneven (maybe a cable problem in tracking) for which at 4:38 loses some energy, maybe not correctly compensated with my vol/comp adjustments.

As usual summed on d-box and mastered.
Comments welcome.
Cheers

I got creative and added some parts - drums, keys, tenor solo.
Well... I'm not the greatest keyboardist and saxophonist.
A little more challenging was fitting the sounds of the added parts with the mix.

On the mixing side minor adjustments on the bass line and cello to make the bass a little more compact.

I'll archive this mix anyway, got frustrated now with it.
cheers
