Very quick mix, and something that can surely be improved.

Challenging backing vocals, very well performed, but since there are so many I should definitely spend some more time on them... You can hear where they smear every now and then, especially at the very start of the first chorus. Again, this is the mix, not the way they were performed

Working on the lead vocal was very rewarding, great performance by the singer!

Hi Whoosh - thanks for taking the time to mix the song. It sounds good ! I like your treatment of the opening guitar, and the lead vocal sounds nice. From a balance perspective, I felt the cymbals were a bit hot, and maybe the drums overall. When I recorded the bass, I was thinking I needed to contrast the DI with a bit more high end to blend it and cut through, but you will see in Mike's mix he did a cut in the 1-4 kHz range, so in hindsight I had too much. Your bass sound may benefit from a similar cut.

Nice work - I really appreciate the time you took to post it. I am having fun listening to the different interpretations !
