Hey all, this is my first mix & master attempt here. Enjoyed having a crack at this tune.
I replaced the kick with a DW Sample.
Didn't do much with the guitars, just EQ'd and a little bit of Saturation. I did use an amp sim on the DI just for a bit more of a "bawlsie" low-mid range.
Sidechain comped Kick to Bass to keep low end definition.
All in all fun to mix. Hope you all like it.
As for the master, I do not pretend to be a mastering engineer, I used very small EQ adjustments and KILLED the dynamic range as is called for in modern music, I did however forget to fade in and out :/ Woops
