Howlin' (Anonymous Audio mix)
#1
Definitely a bit late on the uptake here. Amber is a really cool girl! through my various "underworld" connections, I managed to track her down semi-recently and we chatted a little through email (I never brought up or pushed either mix on her though, I have more respect than that, ha) but anyways, I posted a mix a while back and just recently i decided to start it from scratch having got a few more toys and MUCH more experience since the first go-around. The result is probably one of my best mixes to date (IMO) but, obviously I leave that much for you kind people to decideTongue So give a listen and tell me your thoughts! Smile

P.S. I love talking gear and plugins, so by all means, be nerdy with me!! haha

First impressions:

- Pretty good balance from the start
- Chorus seems to be lacking energy in the high end
- Bass in chorus is kind of distracting for me
- Lead vocals sound nice. Good job

Overall, not bad. Balance is almost there for me. Better than most I've heard so far though. It's more just preference differences at this point.

Check out mine when you get a chance, thanks: http://discussion.cambridge-mt.com/showt...p?tid=8609
