Much too much (just enough mix)

Had a lot of fun with this song! Minimalistic in plugins, aside from the verb. I think my balance is pretty solid, what do you guys think?

Bass guitar a bit too loud for me in the early verses, overpowering the drums.
Really like the big horn sound, and the solo.
Maybe a bit too much reverb on the vocals ... doesn't quite punch through.
Nice mix.
I did this mix as well (will post later), and it my first attempt a a big band jazz song.

I like what you did with the bass. It sounds like you used a transient plugin reducing the transients making it sound almost like an upright bass....cool. Piano and guitar were too low in mix I thought. I liked the reverb though...didn't sound it was too much reverb to me....just right if you ask me. :-)
