My first question on listening to this is: where's the bass? It's all but missing, and I can't imagine metal without bass. You've got plenty of low end on the kick, but not the bass. Strange. Makes me suspect that your low-end monitoring situation may be letting you down.

The vocal's coming through nice a clear, which can be difficult in metal of any kind, but in this case I think you've made things too easy for yourself by allowing the guitars to have a very understated frequency response in the high mids. Give those guitars more body and bite and you'll find yourself having to work harder to keep that vocal above water.

The kit isn't really blending at all at the moment, which I'd probably try to address. It's mostly a question of giving it maybe a bit more buss compression and some ambience reverb on the those toms and maybe even the kick too.
