I actually helped setup the room for this recording at my uncles studio. We have a nice 70's model Gretsch kit that we used here. It's a small room for a band like this but we worked it out. The gtr was recorded in a gtr chamber. The piano was recorded in another gtr chamber. I think the vocals were recorded the next day.

I don't mix nor listen to any big bands like this except for Brian Setzer and a few others occasionally so I didn't try to really emulate anything. I just tried to make it sound like an older, great sounding recording. My mix doesn't sound much like my uncles but this'll have to do.

Nice balanced sounding mix maybe just a touch too wet with reverb ,but that's a personal choice for me !
