What’s up everyone!
It's been a minute since I shared anything but that’s because I’ve been putting all my time into building out my new studio space.
I scored an old Soundtracs Jade 40 mixing console recently. It needed some repairs but after a lot of work, it’s finally alive and sounding amazing.
I mixed this track completely through the board to test everything — no plugins, all outboard gear and analog mojo. I actually had to do some summing too, because 40 channels wasn’t enough for this mix ?

• Behringer 1273 & 369-KT
  
• ART Pro VLA II
  
• Yamaha E1005 analog delay
  
• And a few more bits and pieces

The EQ of the lead singer's voice is not correct! The overall high frequency bias is too much.
