Really good take on a classic mixing approach! Who doesn't love Glynn Johns? Maybe you should have used more pre delayed (plate)reverb on vocals to nail his style.
Great mix! My preference would be to lower vocals a notch.
Feel free to listen and comment on my version. I tried a more aggressive drum sound and a little more modern style.
