I don't normally listen to this kind of stuff at all, but it seemed like it needed a much cleaner sound than the preview.

Even on my puny 5" monitors, I could tell that the kick and bass weren't going to cut it. I isolated the low-end at around 65 Hz and 52 Hz respectively, squashed them hard, and blended them back in, with a bit of distortion added, to help them cut through. I did a similar thing with the snare at around 3.2 kHz, to give it a bit more snap.

I did a bunch of work cleaning up the vocal; Slate's Revival and AirEQ (which is fantastic for adding air to a track, without harshness). There was a bit of mellowness when she sang the lower notes, which I actually kinda liked, but it didn't fit with the style, so I added a bit of dynamic EQ at 140 Hz to damp that, and also at 2 kHz to tame a bit of harshness when she went high.

I've been playing around with Revoice, so I ran the backing vocals through that, which helped tighten them up noticeably.
