There’s a tonne of nasty alias artifacts in some of these materials which is unfortunate.
I dumped an upwards compressor on the bass guitar which seems to help it. I was a little worried it wouldn’t translate owing to it’s original weird frequency response, but it seems to dig my bass retarded stress tester, oddly.
What doesn’t quite dig it, are the vocal ideas that seemed to inflict me towards the latter third. The lead sits back and the backers come forward. Maybe it’s a Queen thing that swept me unconsciously. It sits uncomfortably with me however, so on that basis perhaps it wasn’t a good idea. It's your call.
Checking out Skyeez’s Banana’s meanwhile…..or I might even go off on a tangent and take the dog out for a long one instead. Decisions, decisions.
