Hello everyone. This is my take on the song. So, I wanted to deviate a little bit from the sound of the original and make it more heavy and more metal sounding.
-I used the guitar DIs to create my own tone. For this I used the Rockergain amp-sim from Plugin Alliance (based on the Rockerverb 100) for both the high gain guitars but also for the clearer ones because I thought its sonic qualities fitted the sound that I had in mind for the song. For the clean guitars I didn't actually go for a clean sound but a crunchy one.
-A lot of editing had to be done, drums, guitars, even bass to make everything tight and this actually took me a lot of time, but hey, you do what you have to do.
-Also, I enhanced the main kick with two kick samples, to give it some body and punch.
-Saxophone rules!!
