Redwood - The Smoker And The Stoner - 6 Hour Mix
#1
Spent 6 hours on this. Listened to the Spotify mix and goal was to make it better. I think it turned out OK.
I need to get faster and do it in 3 hours  Confused

V2 - Made broad brush tone decisions on a new set of headphones (since the room is not correct yet)

Thanks. Low end is tricky for me right now in my current mixing environment. Need some traps and a subwoofer.  Huh

A sub definitely help.
But sometime i find that using reference track that you know to have a well balanced low end can get 90% of the way there.

I use references, but the problem is the same in my room whether it's a reference or my mix. I can use headphones, but I don't like mixing  through them. Cheers
