I tried to create a smooth and modern sound. My main focus was to create warm but still clear vocal sound. And everything else I built around it.
My reference or checking point was Undantag from Bo Kaspers Orchestra.
Thats a mix i would be proud of !
Love the fine modulation effect on the lead guitar, good call, and all other instruments sound great.
Only thing I would look into, if its worth the effort, Im not sure about that, but the last note on the hi flute each chorus has a little air "note" a little hi pitched noise i didnt bother to isolate and kill. But as noone else including you mentioned it I probably just are lookin for somethin to change. Great work !
Old ears, old gear, little boy inside love music and sounds and my wife, not necessarily in that order

Interesting. This is an approach most commonly found in video and film sound mixing; you get your production sound (live sound recorded on set) and ADR (replacement dialogue recorded in a studio when production sound is unusable for one reason or another) playing at a good level and sounding the way you want it, then you weave all the other sound and music around it.
I must say I love that vocal sound, and you did a superb job of balancing everything with it. My only suggestion would be to brighten up the guitars just a tad; they have a nice warm sound that's pleasant on the ears but myself personally I like to hear a little sparkle from the high frequencies on an acoustic guitar. That's just my personal preference, though, not an indication of a problem. This is an extraordinarily well done mix. I really enjoyed it!
