All Souls Moon - HbGuitar Mix
#1
Had an epic James May session - All 4 songs mixed at once. Tried to get an unified approach for the whole project. Whilst each track is unique, they all have similarities in having strong melodic support instruments e.g violin, cello, clarinet, classical guitar as well as strong lyrical content and deceptively simple arrangements.

All Souls Moon - violins, singing bass and lots of doo, doo, doo, doo's

Thanks for sharing. I like your work very much. And it let stand out some details I missed in my (very similar) mix that I'll correct (soon).
If I can dare suggesting improvements:

- Guitar 1 track has a honky resonance at 486-490 Hz. If you try boosting with hi-Q it's clearly noticeable - and also in the track you posted. I got rid of it with an notch in my version.
- James' voice is a little thin.
- I would place the wurli "answer" to the bass solo more central

thanks again Smile

Nice idea....I had wurli panned wide for stereo effect..but that answer would be great to auto pan to the centre
