Umbriferous: Sandcastles (Illusion) - my mix

Hi Gang,

This was a tough one. I hope I did it justice.

I didn't use any of the DI tracks. I figured the tone provided was what the guitarist(s) wanted. I blended the provided snare sample with the Up and Down tracks. I completely resampled the toms. And I fixed a little flub in the bass during the intro. That's the gist of it.

Just a little advice on your mix: the overheads volume it's very low, can't hear the cymbals, try to augment the volume by 3-4 db. Final touch: lower the volume on the snare sample by 4-5 db, it's really high
