I did this mix for a class assignment.

Hi JD ,I like it. MPT, and a bug bare with me . vocals that sit below the piano, also piano s that are really wide.
That`s my problem not yours. because of this I think my critique has been compromised.
I will be open and honest and objective with the other points.

positive first.. nice vocal tone overall image in the sound field nice. I like it.

nice clean sound all elements open and can be heard. It has nice depth field.


I have listened through 4 times and have picked up a few things that distracted me during my listening.

I think the drum toms are to forward and a little snappy in places which pulled me away from other elements, but nice tone and natural, are you a drummer?
sounds like it is mixed buy a drummer that`s why I ask?
I find the subs a little heavy and they cloud things up in the low mids; when all elements come together. I think it could be the lows on the toms, they ring on over?
