Hello,

My general recommendation would be to go in and apply High Pass filters to the instruments.  Start with the bass at around 40Hz and slowly move up toward 50Hz until it sounds focused.  From there go to the kick and start at 20Hz and do the same thing.  Both together should sound full but tight.  Now do the same with the Gtrs starting at 100Hz.  You will probably end up around 150Hz.  Move on to the Piano and do the same.   Once you are happy with that, do the same with the Drm mics.  Use the kick as a reference point.   The idea is to give the instruments some space but still fill the Frequency spectrum.  I find it best to work from the lower frequency tracks/instruments up through the higher frequency instruments.  Hope this helps.

Update: I attached samples.
